Barcelona fullback Sylvinho insists there's no need for them to be frightened of Real Madrid.

Asked about Real's victory at Villarreal, Sylvinho declared: "They're a great set with good players, but it is not possible to measure who is better after one week, since things change very fast in the Liga.

"We don't have to be scared of Real Madrid."

Sylvinho added: "We learned a lot from last season. It hurt us to lose the championship, but that's football. The team that wins the title is always the best over a season."
