Barcelona wing-back Sergi Roberto has signed a new contract.

Roberto has signed a one-year contract extension, with the option to continue for another season if he meets a number of targets.

His new termination clause will be 400 million euros.

The 31-year-old midfielder accepts his secondary role in the team and is delighted to remain at the club, albeit on a reduced salary.

The second captain will continue to offer his versatility and commitment to the team.
