Barcelona are prepared to consider a swap deal with Sevilla for Ivan Rakitic.

Barca are prepared to allow the veteran midfielder to leave this summer and it's understood Rakitic has informed directors he will only leave for a return to Sevilla.

Sport says Barca rate Rakitic in the €20m class, though accept Sevilla are unlikely to meet the cash price.

Instead, a swap deal will be considered, with defensive pair Jules Kounde and Diego Carlos both mentioned as potential players moving in the opposite direction.

Carlos was offered to Barca last summer by agents, while Kounde was on their radar before he joined Sevilla from Bordeaux.
