Barcelona could hand Daniel Alves a new one-year deal in the coming weeks.

AS says Barca could offer the Brazilian a new one-year deal if they cannot sign players next summer. The trouble is, the player may want two years.

Barca face a 2015 transfer ban, with a ruling over their appeal due in days.

A deal will be tabled to Alves, off contract in June, if Barca's appeal is thrown out.
