Barcelona management are prepared for Daniel Alves to rundown his contract this season. The fullback is now inside the final year of his existing deal and both parties have agreed to part ways next summer.
Sport says Barca were keen to sell Alves this summer, but interest has dried up over their asking price of €15 million and also the Brazilian's personal demands.
The two parties have now agreed to a 'truce' and for Alves to play out the season before leaving on a Bosman in 12 months' time.
