Barcelona are monitoring Fernando Torres' situation at Chelsea. With Samuel Eto'o set to sign for Chelsea today from Anzhi, Barca are keeping tabs on developments in the event Torres is made available.
Sport says the former Atletico Madrid captain is on Barca's radar and the chance to bring him back to Spain - for an affordable fee - won't be ignored should Chelsea show a willingness to sell.
Barca sports chief Andoni Zubizarreta declared last night they weren't desperate to add to Tata Martino's squad before next week's transfer deadline, but would be monitoring the market through to the final day for any potential bargains.
Martino does have concerns about his squad's lack of out-and-out striker options and would welcome Torres if Barca were to swoop.
