Sergi Roberto admits he's being paid a modest salary at Barcelona.

The wing-back renewed his deal on reduced terms to help the club through it's financial crisis.

He told RAC1: "If you knew what I charge ..., but for me it is not an effort and I do it with pride because I want to be here."

Currently vice-captain, he also said: “I would be very excited to be the first and I am ready, although hopefully (Sergi) Busquets stays many years because he is the best possible captain.

“I am enjoying soccer again, the atmosphere in the locker room is good and the coach is right to make this transition. Xavi He said they would wait for me and that they would trust me."
