Barcelona management are urging several senior players to accept fresh pay-cuts.

Mundo Deportivo says Gerard Pique, Sergi Busquets, Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto have all been approached about reviewing their current deals.

Last week, Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu admitted "some contracts need to be adjusted".

Barca are struggling with their finances due to the impact of coronavirus and have asked their highest earners to consider futher wage cuts to help the club through the situation.

The four mentioned senior players will be urged to consider reviewing their contracts, though as yet there's no word of the same being requested of the club's two highest paid, Leo Messi and Antoine Griezmann.
