Barcelona are eyeing Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

The City captain is off contract at the end of the season.

Mundo Deportivo says Barca see Gundogan as an alternative to his City teammate Bernardo Silva.

Silva's price-tag is deemed too rich by the Catalans and so they're turning to Gundogan.

For his part, the German feels ready for a career swansong elsewhere as his contract runs down.
