Barcelona have made contact with PSG for transfer-listed striker Kylian Mbappe.

L'Equipe says Barca are willing to study the feasibility of signing the Frenchman and offer a viable solution to PSG to unlock a situation that is beginning to become more than uncomfortable in Paris.

Throughout today, Barca directors have held a video meeting with their PSG counterparts to discuss the operation and to consider the options available to them.

Barça would be willing to include several players in the transfer to lower the cost. Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, Kessié, Clement Lenglet and Serginho Dest have all been raised as makeweights.

The Catalans must be creative given their Financial Fair Play limitations.

The big stumbling block, however, would be Mbappé, who still favours leaving Paris for Real Madrid once it is decided he must depart.
