Barcelona will not go higher than £40 million for Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
With the World Cup entering it's home straight, Barca are set to step up their pursuit of Arsenal's Spain international.
However, El Mundo Deportivo says Barcelona are keen to sign Mesut Ozil, whose Werder Bremen contract expires next summer.
Barca may see the German as a cheaper alternative if Arsenal refuse to sell Cesc for anything less than £40 million.
