The 30-year-old, who is recovering from an injury to the rectus femoris in his right leg, began during the early part of the season, and Barcelona were set to meet Sergi Roberto after the Christmas holidays.

However, Sergi Roberto continues to wait and now Barcelona will inform the player and his agent when they are ready to make an official offer.
