Barcelona rethink Rugani stand in Juventus talks for Arthur

Barcelona have been offered Daniele Rugani by Juventus.

Mundo Deportivo says when Juve opened talks with Barca for Arthur Melo, the Catalans' initial demands was for Matthijs de Ligt to be included.

However, this proposal was quickly shut down by Juve, which instead offered Rugani as an alternative.

At the time, Barca rejected the offer, but with negotiations over Arthur continuing the Catalans are now rethinking their stand.

While the Italy international is not a first-choice, there is a discussion at La Masia that Rugani has the type of game which suits Barca's traditional style of play.

Negotiations between the two clubs are continuing today over several fronts.
