Barcelona are ready to extend Sergi Roberto's new contract offer.

With wage cap issues, Barca plan to offer Roberto a longer deal for lesser yearly wages in order to make more room for January additions - including Ferran Torres.

The utility is off contract in June and prepared to accept a pay-cut.

However, Barca hope to convince Roberto to go even lower with the exchange of a longer contract.
