Manchester United midfield pair Scott McTominay and Anthony Elanga are being linked with Barcelona.

Well-connected Spanish journalist Gerard Romero is reporting the pair are being discussed at Barca as United move for Frenkie de Jong.

Romero states United have offered Harry Maguire, Alex Telles or Marcus Rashford in exchange for De Jong.

However, Barcelona are more interested in McTominay and Elanga.

Barca are willing to discuss a swap with United involving McTominay and Elanga in the next few days.

But the English big club is said to prefer to keep both players.
