Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has revealed his row with club legend Johan Cruyff was sparked over a transfer policy disagreement.

Cruyff has continued his tirade against Rosell through the European press this season.

"(It began) in my time as vice president when he advised us to buy the three A's, Aimar, Albelda and Ayala, and we instead bought in Ronaldinho, Deco, Edmilson and Márquez. That is where I think it all began," recalled Rosell.
