Barcelona president Joan Laporta has dismissed concerns over Samuel Eto'o's strop at being substituted in their 6-1 thrashing of Atletico Madrid.
He said: "Anyone who knows him knows he wants to play at all times, because he fights not only for the team but for personal targets, like any great goalscorer.
"He helps this team and he wants to take advantage of any circumstances to score goals.
"Samuel has a strong character. The reaction itself is very acceptable, because it shows that a player is committed, these things will motivate and generate confidence in him."
