Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu was delighted with their Champions League win over Bayern Munich. Barca thrashed Bayern 3-0 in the first-leg of their semifinal.

"I am very pleased with the result," said Bartomeu.

"We're taking a great lead with us to Munich but Bayern are another great semi-finalist who play good football and fight hard."

On two-goal Lionel Messi, he added: "When Messi plays at this level he is unstoppable. The second goal speaks for itself. Everyone stood up for it. He's a unique player, the best in the world. He represents how global football is and we are so lucky that he plays for us.
