Barcelona prepared to send Tottenham Coutinho for Ndombele

Barcelona are prepared to set up a swap offer for Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

The Mirror says Barcelona are said to be interested in Ndombele and are willing to offer Philippe Coutinho plus cash in order to sign the player.

The French midfielder became Spurs' record signing last summer when he joined in a deal worth up to £63m from Lyon, but it's fair to say things have not gone according to plan so far.

He has been criticised by his manager Jose Mourinho in the past for lacking fitness, and has been left on the bench for Spurs' two games since the Premier League has restarted.

Some reports have claimed a row erupted between Ndombele and Mourinho at training on Monday and that the player said he no longer wanted to work under the Portuguese manager.
