Barcelona are weighing up a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Anatoliy Tymoschuk.

Spanish radio Cadena SER says Barca have been encouraged to bid for the Ukraine international by his representatives in January.

Tymoschuk has struggled to settle in Germany and has also been linked with a return to former club, Zenit St Petersburg.

Barca coach Pep Guardiola may be convinced to move for Tymoschuk as he prepares to lose holding midfield pair Yaya Toure and Seydou Keita to the African Nations Cup at the turn of the year.
