Barcelona No2 Jordi Roura insists David Villa remains a required player.

Villa is missing from the squad for their clash with Malaga.

But Roura explained: "He couldn't finish the game against Cordoba, because we took him off to be on the safe side. We waited to see if he improved and he felt a twinge today so he won't travel."
