Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic remains a target for Barcelona, AC Milan and Inter.

Claims that the Serbian defender is unsettled continue to circulate, says the Sunday Mirror.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson told Vidic, 27, he would not be allowed to o when reports of an imminent offer from Barcelona began - but the European champions still hope a deal can be sealed.

Barca have been given encouragement by sources close to the player suggesting Vidic wants away because his wife, Ana, does not enjoy living in England.

That has also alerted both Milan clubs that United are faced with the prospect of having an unhappy player.
