Barcelona midfielder Sergi Busquets has praised Ivan Rakitic for his attitude this season.

After a tough start to the campaign, Rakitic has worked his way back into coach Ernesto Valverde's plans in recent weeks.

Rakitic again featured for victory over Real Mallorca on Saturday and Busquets was asked about his teammate's situation.

"He did not have many minutes, but he continued to work and waited for his opportunity. It's a decision of the coach," said the veteran.

"He is a very profitable football player."
