Barcelona midfielder Busquets admits title hopes over with Levante draw

Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets admits their title hopes are over after drawing with Levante on Tuesday night.

The Catalans fought their way back into the title race after a poor start to the season, but their 3-3 draw against Levante on Tuesday was just the latest recent disappointment, and one that all but ends their chances.

"We don't have much chance left," Busquets said after the game. "It depends on what the others do, but there are very few points left to play for."

Busquets did point out that the title was not yet mathematically out of reach, but admits that they will leave the Ciutat de Valencia "with bad feelings".

Barcelona stormed the first half and led 2-0 at the break. From there, they were pegged back to 2-2 before leading again, only to let that slip as well.

"We started well and had the advantage," Busquets said. "But, in the end, it was the same thing that has happened throughout the season - we made mistakes and they scored too easily.

"We weren't accurate in the second half and they did well to recover It's not only this game. There have been a lot. There was a time when we looked very good but we haven't been like that lately."
