The striker moved to Barca on-loan to June from Sassuolo last month.

Marca says Barca have already decided to send the Ghana international back to Italy at the end of the season.

Boateng had been signed as cover for Luis Suarez and has battled for minutes so far since his arrival.

He has managed just 123 minutes since signing at the end of January.
