Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes says Jose Mourinho will be good for the media - but whether that will be enough for Real Madrid remains to be seen.
Mourinho is already dominating the Spanish sports media this season.
And Valdes told Cadena COPE: "He will give you much to talk about, and will sell a lot of papers. The press are beginning to know him.
"But the thing that is important is what happens in between. Football is 11 against 11 on the field, and nothing more."
Valdes also added that, similar to last season, he fully expects Real Madrid to be challenging for the league title until the final day of the season, adding: "Real Madrid have a good team, good players and will fight until the end.
"Barcelona's philosophy remains to play a positive game, and hopefully the great results will continue. We will see, the season has just started."
