Manchester City are interested in Barcelona wing-back Sergi Roberto.

Roberto is a favourite of City manager Pep Guardiola and sporting director Txiki Begiristain.

Sport says City would be willing to consider Roberto in any offer from Barca for Joao Cancelo.

However, the feedback from Barca is that Roberto will only leave for an independent cash deal.

Begiristain is aware of Barca's stand and is now considering City's next move.
