Barcelona have made it clear to Antoine Griezmann he must leave if they're to fit the squad under the LaLiga's salary cap.

Sport says Griezmann, for the moment, accepts leaving, but only if he can go to Atletico Madrid. There was talk of a trade with Saul Niguez but Atletico didn't want to put more money on the table and the deal went south.

Barca have done their homework and the only way to keep Griezmann in the squad is to lower everyone else's salary. In this way he could stay.

However Memphis Depay's arrival is bad news for him, given he plays in the same position and is a player Ronald Koeman demanded.

Kun Aguero has also signed and Ansu Fati is finding fitness. As such, it's been made clear to Griezmann he must depart this summer.
