Barcelona hero Daniel Alves says he's excited to have signed for Pumas.

Regarding the level of the Mexican league, Alves has underlined the quality of the competition.

"Those who discredit it do it wrongly. They have very good goalkeepers and they handle the ball very well," the full-back explained as he also highlighted the involvement of his new club, Pumas, in society.

"It's more than just football, it's a university that gives equal rights to everyone.

"It unites society and trains people: I'm passionate about that, it drives me crazy.

"Life is not just about football, my soul has a heart and that's why I'm here," insisted the player, delighted to begin this new stage.
