Barcelona great Carles Puyol can see Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola winning the Champions League again.

City are in control of their last 16 tie against Real Madrid after a 2-1 win at the Santiago Bernabeu this week.

Puyol, now an agent, said: “Josep was my best coach, he is generally the best coach in the world.

"You can always determine a Guardiola team by its game. I am sure that he will win the Champions League again. I can't say with certainty that he will do it with Manchester City, but now this team will fully focus on Champions League, because Liverpool can't be caught up in the Premier League."
