Barcelona fullback Jordi Alba is happy being pushed by his teammates.

Alba admits competition for places is red hot.

He said, “I always think that I have competition. I am motivated to be here, because I'm at the best club in the world.

"They've given me everything and that is my daily motivation. I am very lucky. I want to keep winning titles. That is what makes people happy, and I think that we're on a good path.

"Today any player can turn up and take your spot. I will take face it as I think we have to face it. If another player comes who can play on the left-hand side, then perfect. The signings are very good and have high quality, they are strengthening us a lot. What we had was already very good but the new signings that we have made are very good. We have great internal competition. We are sure that we will do very well."
