Barcelona fullback Daniel Alves was delighted with a winning return last night.

Alves made his 'second debut' in victory over Copa del Rey opponents Linares.

He said, "Very happy, a movie is going through my head. Going back to playing in official competition with Barça is too special a gift. I just want to play with my teammates, help them, improve them. It is a competition with many surprises, but that they did not happen with us. We knew it was difficult, but we were mentally strong."

Alves was played in central midfield and continued: "I've played a lot there, the team makes things a lot easier. They made it difficult for us with their audience because they were very motivated. That is Barça.

"For me it is a special day for wearing the Barça shirt again. You have to learn to compete and fight to the end. Only those who know how to suffer raise Cups. Today we have achieved it."
