Real Madrid hope to beat Barcelona for Neymar by including a player in their bid to Santos. AS says Barca president Sandro Rosell has moved to trump Real by offering €50 million for Neymar - €5 million more than his buyout clause - and is willing to wait until January to bring him to Spain.
However, the attacker's priority is to move to Real and talks are continuing with Santos. The Brazilians have asked Real to include a player in their bid - and Fernando Gago could be added to their offer for Neymar.
Representatives of Santos' financial backers are due in Madrid next week to meet with Real president Florentino Perez about Neymar's situation.
