Barcelona are closing on a deal for Liverpool defender Dan Agger.

Sport says Agger is on his way to Barcelona.

Barcelona's search for a centre-back this summer has so far been a fruitless exercise, with the Catalans unable to sign number one target Marquinhos from PSG.

This all adds up to one thing, according to the paper: Agger signing a five-year deal with Barca, who will pay Liverpool €15million for the Dane's services.
