Barcelona are interested in Manchester City fullback Angelino.

Currently on-loan with Schalke, it's been announced by the Bundesliga outfit that an outright deal will not be considered.

Mundo Deportivo says Angelino will return to City at the end of the season - though could yet be sold elsewhere.

And watching developments are Barcelona, which are in the market for cover for senior left-back Jordi Alba.

It would mean a return home to Spain for the 23 year-old, who was prised away from Deportivo La Coruna's academy by City seven years ago.
