Sport says PSG want to extend the €222m man's current deal from 2022 to 2025 - so securing his future to Paris.

However, Neymar is refusing to ponder such a prospect, with his heart still set on returning to Barca.

The Catalans had two confirmed offers for Neymar turned down over the summer and remain eager to take the attacker back to the Nou Camp.

Contact has been resumed this month between PSG and Neymar Snr, the player's father and agent, but for the moment there's been zero interest on the Brazilian's side to consider new terms.

Meanwhile, watching in the background is Barca, where sports director Eric Abidal declared just yesterday: "At the sporting level, there is no doubt that he is a player that you have to sign, because there are no players like him on the market."
