Barcelona defender Jules Kounde is fighting to make the El Clasico against Real Madrid.

Sport says he has October 16 marked in red on the calendar, the day that sees Barcelona head to the Santiago Bernabéu to face Real Madrid.

Despite getting injured while on international duty with France, he is desperate to return as soon as possible to help the team this month.

And the reality is that his recovery is on the right track. Surprisingly, on Thursday the player was already part of the preparatory session despite being injured, as could be seen in a video issued by the club.

It is not known exactly what part of the work he did with the group but it is great news that he was already on the pitch after he was injured in the match against Austria on Sept. 22.
