Barcelona coach Xavi insists he doesn't want to lose Sergi Roberto.

Off contract in June, Roberto is target for Arsenal, says Sport.

Xavi, however, says: "I would recommend the club to extend with Sergi Roberto. You already know that. He is important and can play in a lot of positions.

"You don't have to explain much to him. He knows what Barcelona is and represents.

"He is often exposed to criticism, but always gives his best. I am happy for him."
