Barcelona haven't dropped their pursuit of Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino.

It's been claimed Barca have pulled back from Bosman talks with Firmino to focus on Chelsea outcast Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

However, Sky Sports says Firmino is viewed as a cheaper option with his Liverpool contract set to expire in June.

Aubameyang has been in touch with former Barcelona team-mates telling them he wants to return to the Nou Camp, having been frozen out at Stamford Bridge.

And Xavi has even entertained the prospect of bringing in both veteran strikers this summer, though their financial problems with LaLiga will dictate their plans.
