Barcelona coach Xavi was delighted with victory over Getafe.

Barca thumped Getafe 4-0 via goals from Raphinha, Joao Felix, Frenkie de Jong and Fermin Lopez.

Xavi said: "It was a very complete game, in defence and attack. We matched an aggressive, intense team... we knew how to go into space many times and that's where the goals came from. The team was very good physically, tactically, clean sheet, convincing match.

"Very happy and satisfied with the effort. It is a victory that gives us a bit of calm, and now, let's think about Athletic.

"Nothing changes, we don't throw in the towel. We know that we have to add three every weekend. We have 12 left, they have 13. Last week was very positive because we cut back. We will be very attentive to Girona and Real Madrid.

"It is always important to win and at home. We had to show our best version. We were missing a convincing match. It was a round match. We showed that we can attack well when we understand things. It was round in every sense."
