Barcelona coach Ronaldo Koeman admits there's frustration missing out on Gini Wijnaldum.

After months of negotiations with Barca, the departing Liverpool midfielder has agreed to join PSG.

It's understood PSG's offer was worth double what Barca had tabled.

Koeman lamented: "It's a shame because he was an interesting player and he was also courted by many teams.

"I think we missed a few contacts that would have been decisive, or perhaps more convincing on our part, but the point is that Paris Saint-Germain have passed us."
