Barcelona chiefs insist they want to keep Daniel Alves

Barcelona sports chief Andoni Zubizarreta insists they want to keep Daniel Alves.

The Brazil fullback has cast doubt over his future at the Nou Camp.

"We're delighted with Dani Alves. We'll talk to him when he's back, but we couldn't be happier with him," said Zubi.

Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu also commented: "We've yet to speak to Dani Alves, which we'll do when he comes back from holiday. He's just played his last match [at the World Cup], he's done with his international duties and he's going off on a well-deserved holiday. When he gets back, we'll talk."
