Barcelona chiefs are in Brazil to complete the signing of Sao Paulo defender Douglas.
Sport says a Barca delegation, led by director of football, Raul Sanllehí, touched down in Brazil yesterday ahead of finalising negotiations for Douglas.
An agreement could be struck today, with Barca putting the finishing touches on the transfer as Traffic own 40 per cent of Douglas' registration.
The 24 year-old will pen a deal to 2019 and join Barca for a fee of €6 million.
After initially planning to send Douglas back to Sao Paulo on-loan, it now appears likely he will join Luis Enrique's Barca squad. The Brazilian transfer market closed on August 15.
