Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is being discussed at Barcelona. There remain doubts over the future of Luis Enrique at Barca, despite leading his team to the brink of a Treble.

Enrique has concerns about a lack of support from the board this season and could walk away after the Champions League final.

El Pais says although any contact with Ancelotti will have been informal, Ariedo Braida, the head of international football at Barcelona, has championed him to the club's board: his good footballing taste, his great sporting career (which includes three league titles and three Champions League successes) and especially his big performances in getting star names to play well together.

Braida worked alongside Ancelotti at the San Siro for a decade. They still keep an excellent relationship today.
