Barcelona chief Pep Segura is keeping tabs on Ajax's brightest young players.

De Telegraaf says Segura has scouts attending Ajax games this season to keep a check on four of their bright, young stars.

Indeed, youth chief Jose Maria Bakero was in the stands on Sunday to see Ajax defeat PEC Zwolle.

Bakero was running his eye over Matthijs de Ligt (18), midfielders Donny van de Beek (20) and Frenkie de Jong (20) and winger Justin Kluivert (18).

It's understood Segura had asked Bakero to consider the quartet and whether any of them were better than the young players currently in Gerard Lopez's Barca B team.
