Barcelona chief Mateo Alemany is closing a deal for Flamengo fullback Wesley.

Cadena SER reports Alemany has been seen with Deco, Flamengo's agent.

The sporting director and Deco ate together at Via Veneto, where Barcelona usually go to have meetings and dinners.

Wesley Vinicius Franca Lima will come on loan for a year with a non obligatory option to buy, joining Barca Atletic under Rafa Marquez.

He has a contract with Flamengo that he recently signed up to 2025, with the Brazilians owning 70 per cent of his economic rights.
