Barcelona captain Sergi Busquets paid tribute to Gerard Pique after victory over Almeria.
The 2-0 win marked Pique's last game at the Nou Camp after he announced his retirement.
Busquets was the first player to speak about Pique after the game. The midfielder praised his team-mate and was emotional about his goodbye.
"Gerard leaves a spectacular legacy, he has turned the club into one of the greatest in the world, he has gone out of his way for the club," Busquets said.
"He has made history. He's an example of what a Barca player is, and what you have to do, we will miss him a lot."
On the 2-0 win, Busquets said: "We were superior, with a lot of attacks and chances. In the first half we did not score but in the second we did break the deadlock and we got the game on track."
