Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta says Real Madrid are worthy champions.

Victory over Eibar wasn't enough to prevent Real Madrid from winning the LaLiga.

"We have done our job by winning today but we have been up against a rival who has just been a little better than us, they are a deserving champion," said Iniesta.

"We have finished the season but we haven't found the consistency that is necessary to be champions, it is a shame because we have only missed out by three points."

Iniesta says they still have the Copa del Rey to focus on.

"It is the coach's farewell at home and everyone is grateful for his time with us but we still have a title to win that will give him the perfect ending,"he added.
