Barcelona coach Tata Martino felt victory over Villarreal was their best performance of the season.
Neymar struck twice in the crucial win.
"It's the game that has pleased me the most since I've been here. We continued the fine level of performance after the games in Cartagena and Celtic against the most difficult opponent we've faced in the last three games," said Martino.
"To apply pressure well you need to have the desire to do so. It's not a case of having a good or bad night. First you must be organised, then it depends on the motivation of the players to do it."
