Barcelona attacker Ferran Torres hopes former club Valencia beat the drop.
Torres came through the youth system at VCF before moving to Manchester City.
He told A Punt: "Valencia is like a lifestyle, I've experienced everything there: I grew up and matured, I became a man. It's in my DNA. I haven't ever closed the doors: I hope to be able to return one day, because I have always said that it was my club, the one I love the most.
"Lies have been told about my move to City and things have been leaked that have hurt me. The whole truth has never come out, I just know that my transfer has earned the club a good amount of money and has helped them.
"It hurts me a lot to see Valencia in this situation, I hope they save themselves as soon as possible. He has to stay in the Primera Division."
